Contributing to innovation is a major challenge for us: we are developing several research programmes within the enialab laboratory, in parallel with the agency's directly operational activity.

These programmes may be the result of partnerships with industrialists or manufacturers, or be part of institutional research contracts, in conjunction with public players (Pays de la Loire Regional Agency), French universities (University of Compiègne) or foreign universities (Chile, Quebec).

The research projects cover an extremely wide range of scales and themes: from furniture to the territory, it is oriented towards energy optimisation, comfort, use and the fight against premature obsolescence of the living environment.

This activity has led to the filing of three international patents to date.

In addition, enia architects has been a sponsor of the Palladio Foundation on the manufacture of the City since 2011.
